The Society for Disease Prevention is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that exists to prevent public health crises and infectious disease outbreaks through widespread community education. SFDP is uniquely qualified to address the needs of effective health prevention education. The Organization is led by a group of dedicated volunteers who are licensed to provide medical care and education both locally, in Pennsylvania and in various regions of Africa. The president of SFDP’s Board, Kennedy Alajemba, was personally motivated to start a nonprofit that targets the root causes of infectious diseases through education and awareness as a result of his personal experience working in, and being from Nigeria, Africa, where he worked extensively in the Nigerian Health Care System.

“Despite significant progress against HIV/AIDS and Malaria; death and disability from the infection remain very high, especially in some poor and less developed nations, such as Malawi, Nigeria, Kenya and South Sudan. SFDP through various coordinated efforts targeting community health has partnered with several organizations to provide free and quality health care to our various communities in Africa, and in the central Pennsylvania area, including local churches, elderly homes, and shelters for the homeless“
